My last post was dec 29 2007. Over six months ago. Damn, it has been a while.
Between then and now, several things have kept me busy and away from devoting time to this blog. Now that the dust has settled, so to speak, I can get back to hopefully updating my entries a little more often.  

One item that has kept me busy was preparing the material for the website project I spoke about in the first entry. I am glad to say it is finally starting to take shape as I have shot and accumulated enough material over the last year, and now looking forward to working on the design and layout of the site. Rashard Murdock, 16, a student at the all-boys Mount St. Michael’s Academy, confirmed that the video was making the rounds at other schools.”Everybody was talking about it at school today,” he said. “A lot of people have seen the video.”Parents were stunned that a student at St. Ursula would perform in a porn video.”This is a Catholic school, and this stuff is going on,” said one mom. “It’s horrible.”

Archdiocese spokeswoman Jackie LoFaro and school president Jane Dowling said they could not discuss details about the incident because it is under investigation by federal officials. “We do know about it, we’re aware of it, this is a serious situation,” said Lofaro, who added that she did not believe the girl had been disciplined.”I think the school is working very seriously with the family on this matter,” she said.

Students attended an assembly Tuesday to discuss the issue, but some worried that the damage had already been done.”
